Bet the flop, that bet on the turn is incredibly weak, you will be raised there by any two cards depending on your opponent.

what would you suggest doing, and if i were raised say i had bet $5-7?

call, reevaluate the river. I wouldn't call a pot sized bet on the river, but most players won't bet the pot on the river anyway.
