KK - Raise for free Showdown?

Villian in this hand is like 45/22/1.8 over 130 hands. I've seen him cap K9s from CO, He donked me (raiser) with 33 on AAJ flop and stayed around to river runner runner flush. He will check/call down with A8 UI. Basically, he's pretty nutso preflop, but seems to slow down postflop.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG calls.

Flop: (7 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, SB calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (5 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, SB folds, UTG calls.

River: (9 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 9 BB

I figure the donk could mean a lot of hands, and I've got outs against all of them. This a standard line?

While I'm typing this he just runner runner flushed me again (black KK) vs his 99...yay. I hate LAG Luckboxes.

When he just calls and checks to you on the river, and with the board pairing, I bet the river. Although I'd bet the river without the board pairing.

Agreed with damaniac, I bet this river everytime he doesn't 3-bet me on the turn.

P.s. don't complain about people who call down with hands that you crush. Otherwise you won't make any money.

I'd take the free showdown with a hand like 88 or 99 here but not with KK. I would bet and fold to a c/r.

Understandable, I don't think this is a raise for a free showdown. I think he just donkbet a turn that improved his hand more often than not. A lot of the time he can have top pair here, or pair / flush draw.

This is a raise for a 'bet every river but a jack'. If he's got a flush he would've let you know on that turn. Especially with the board pairing, you have to bet this river.

Turn raise = g00t. Bet the river and call a raise. As someone else said, he would let you know if he has a made flush on the turn. A lot of people will donk when they pick up a draw, it doesn't have to be a 4.

Standard bet/call on the river.

bet/call >>> check > bet/fold

I agree the river was kind of weak. It was just really strange the way this guy played his hands. He would have gotten way crazy earlier with top pair. I was kind of confused because it was out of the ordinary for this guy. He turned over 56 for the straight and my hand is no good.

Thanks for the feedback.
