Coaching from Bob Ciaffone

Anyone here ever receive coaching from Bob Ciaffone? His rates are not too high and he is definitely a good poker player. I am considering giving him a try after I return from the motherland in January.

Meh, I used Bob before I got heavily involved posting at 2+2. He's certainly a good player and you can learn from him. Most of his coaching revolves around hand histories which I think you can get even more out of by just utilizing 2+2 to its fullest potential. So I don't think you're throwing your money away but you get what you pay for.

What about live play? My problem is, I've been playing online so damn much that my live play is beginning to suffer, that's why I'm even considering it. Can you give an idea of what you found most helpful?

Coaching is a key to developing a solid game. I've heard good things about Bob.

My coach is Jim Bucci at www.pokercoaching.com. I can strongly recommend coaches Jim Bucci and Bill Seymour.

I set up PokerCoaching.com for coach Jim Bucci. Once it was launched, I handed the keys to Jim. It's now Jim's operation and I am no longer involved financially. Bill Seymour is Jim's colleague and also coaches. Both coaches are seniors with outstanding multi-decade track records in casino tourneys and both play online for a living at the present time.

Below is an informative review on the www.PokerCoaching.com service. Both coaches (PokerCoaching's Bill Seymouri, and Bob Ciaffone) are mentioned here by author Bill Rini, a poker blogger who has utilized both coaches. Bill now works in IT at FullTilt. This is an interesting review.

Yes. He is wildly out of touch with the nature of today's limit Hold'em in casinos and online.

What do you see as the difference between live and Internet play that can be discussed via email or phone?
