Is this tourney taking the place of the 700k guarenteed?

If so, i think it will hurt the enrollment not having the 700k mark attatched to the title. Just seems like basic marketing to me. What do you guys think?

did the old 530 700k fill enough so that there was no overlay? if so, i'd say this is a $100k boon for players. i don't stress the marketing - the fish'll find it.

here's the interesting thing. they are adding money, which is amazing, but they are going to pay out 400 spots which is.....not ideal. I have some really mixed opinions on this.

me too. makes more sense though, since they would probably never make a 700k guarentee. If they think they wont make a 500k guarentee then "adding" the 100k makes a ton of sense since it makes it only a 400k guarentee really.

Nowhere does it say it stays a 500K guarantee. I think they are just adding 100K to the prize pool. I don't know how many players will play on Christmas day but maybe the 100K will attract more players so they can have a legit tourney.
