Monotone Board Line

Raise A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] from CO, BB calls

Flop Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checkraises. Hero...

Now, my action up until now has been to just 3bet this because he most likely just has a big club and my hand is very likely best.

What about a flop call, then raise on a non-club turn? We also can muck if the turn brings a club.

Probably already your guys' move, but am I thinking correctly? This move will get us SB extra when we are ahead and save us an SB when we are behind.

I think I'd rather 3-bet the flop because I think it helps disguise our hand and usually gets the money in when we have the best hand.

I don't know if I could muck it when the 3rd club hits. His check raise could be a club, or a ton of other hands. I kinda like waiting to the turn to raise, because our equity will change drastically once a non club hits.

Lots of hands c/r that flop, so I like a 3-bet to give me that control back.

Also allows me to bet the turn, and check behind a club river if need be.
