Hand 7

So when I do choose to fold, this happens. (this guy was pretty passive preflop, hence no cap, but I really kind of regret no capping it. Obviously.

Preflop: Hero is MP with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, CO calls $20 (All-In), Button 3-bets, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, Hero calls.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero folds.

River: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Results in white below:
CO has 5d Qd (high card, king).
Button has 7d 7h (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: Button wins 8.75 BB.

Re: inability to fold?

Hand 1: I'd check/fold the river. You're beat by everything; kings, fives, and flush draws, and you split with all eights except A8 which beats you.

Hand 5: Yeah the turn check/raise in this pot is a pretty strong move. I would muck.

Hand 6: I think the turn is a fold, but I would def like to see a showdown if the seven doesn't pair. I'm not sure if this logic is incorrect or not though...

Hand 7: I really dislike the flop check/raise. What's that about?

Re: inability to fold?

Hand 1: Ya - tough.

Hand 2: You know.

Hand 3: Fine IMO.

Hand 4: I likes. AK will fold the river.

Hand 5: You know.

Hand 6: I think we can fold the turn.

Hand 7: Any reads? That seems hyper-aggressive. I'm tempted to fold the flop. Is everyone that aggressive? (This is what... 10/20?)

Re: inability to fold?

Hand 1: If he's passive why c/c? He's not checking though a K. He's not bluff raising. He might check there a smaller 8 or 77,66,44,33. If I'm checking here, I'm folding, but I prefer bet/fold.
Hand 2: I'd sooner bet the turn the call the river. I don't think I'd do either, which means I should probably just fold the flop.
Hand 3: I'm not folding. I don't think it's really that close either.
Hand 4: That's fine.
Hand 5: I fold it on the turn. You're beat a lot and the pot is 6BB.
Hand 6: I'd have a hard time calling the turn without a read.
Hand 7: I'd cap PF unless my read was real strong.

Re: inability to fold?

Hand 1: I kind of hate check/folding here as well, but the pot is small and your opponent is passive so yeah, fold is best IMO.

Hand 2: Yeah, fold.

Hand 3: I don't fold here either.

Hand 4: I bet the river.

Hand 5: Easy turn fold IMO.

Hand 6: Reads would help here. The turn card was bad. I probably call down in this situation as well, but I think it's probably wrong.

Hand 7: Ugh, I probably would have folded the flop.

Re: inability to fold?

yeah hand 2 is pretty lame, probably the worst one imo. I dunno if I should even call the flop there, but this guy donks anything and everything and figured I had high card value. I agree river is a fold, Im investing 1bb to play the board and win a split pot.

Last hand, with TT, my usual move is to cap pf, bet/call or bet/fold flop...then folding turn UI. This was before I knew he had the gusto to repop 77 on this board. After that, Id have a hard time folding to this guy.
