Two turn decisions

Here are two hands with decisions, that I personally think, are somewhat interesting. I would like to hear any opinions with reasoning and potential hand ranges.

These are both 15+1 Turbo tournaments if that helps in hand ranges at all. I have no reads on any players since it is pretty early in both.

Hand 1:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

MP2 (t4280)
Hero (t1395)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls t30, 3 folds, Hero calls t30, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks.

SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets t30, Hero raises to t150, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls t120.

Turn: (t420) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Re: Two turn decisions

Hand 1: I'd check behind and call any river bet. Pot control, I'd also push any non-spade T or if I fill up.

Hand 2: I'd jam, I don't want to give a free card to a single heart and I have outs if he called me with a fluhs draw.

I third the motion. In my mind , the fact that the third heart in hand #2 is the ace lessens the chance he already has a flush, and as was said, you have outs even if he does.
