Re: FD in a blind battle

btw, that thread was just bumped and I noticed someone adamently against check raising the turn with just a draw. That wasn't my intention, here. The turn check was to prevent getting raised by button.

I just c/f the river, but betting isn't terrible. Rest is fine. Flop CR shows enough fold equity IMO. He's not folding enough on the turn though so good check.

Re: FD in a blind battle

The flop bet by villian could just be any ole obligated continuation bet HU. Since he checked behind on the turn, does this usually mean that he doesn't have much of anything? If he didn't hit the board or have anything hiding in the hole (reasonable PP) and you think that you have enough fold equity, then firing at the pot is okay.

I think it would be good to know what his went to showdown figures are like to help determine shooting at the river.

I think you win this 1/4 since he checked behind the turn. +EV.
