the best game ever

I am currently playing a 6 max game that is capped 3 ways on EVERY street, I have never seen anything like it. What is the best strategy for a game like this? PLay tight pre flop? THe avg pot is litteraly 20BB

if you dont know how to counter this, this is the worst possible game for you to play.

I know this, I have never seen anything like it. people cappiung with 42o and seeing it to the river. I would think playing tight pre flop, playing things like suited connectors and pair(trying to flop a set) would be the best idea? I have experience in playing in loose games, but not games where 3-4 people are capping with hands like T4s.

Play tight preflop because once you are in the hand you will have odds to call down with almost anything.

These types of games are only good if you can win a few pots before they break up.

Good luck.

unless the pots are many way, you shuld be tightening up a whole lot more than playing small pairs and suited connectors.

remember that getting in for 4 bets 4 ways with 55 isn't great just because you're going to mak a bunch when you hit.

premiums if not many handed to the flop

the premium side of good multiway hands if not many handed to the flop

this reminds me of pacific play. The problem with these games is they are not profitable unless the table stays together a good while. expect to take some horrible beats in huge pots, if you are prone to tilting just find another table. I've made 200BB in 2 hours at tables like this, but I've also lost 300BB in the course of a day. Play tight, suited connectors do better then most hands in this spot, just remember to push your equity when you got it, capping flush draws and straights yourself. be wary though, if the table breaks up, you won't have oppurtunity to make up on missed hands and bad beats.

Care to explain why a game would be profitable after 200 hands but not after 2?

I highly doubt you can.

To the OP: If it's multiway all the way to showdown, feel free to play pairs and suited connectors. If not, play big cards. It's real hard to give blanket statements. Most importantly, be ready for some sick variance.
