MTT Bankroll
 

I apologize if this has been posted before. But I was wondering what the reccomended bankroll is for playing MTT's. For SNG's I've heard that 30-50 buy ins is sufficient. I would assume you need quite a bit more for MTT's due to the larger variance. What are your requirements for playing MTT's in terms of buy ins?

The general rule that most people will tell you is 100 buy-ins, if you are playing other games (Cash, S&G's) then you can get away with a lil less.

I try not to drop below 250 buy ins.

But I am a bit conservative.

IE in ring limit games, I prefer a 600 big bet br instead of the recommended 300.

Basically you never want to be underrolled. A poor streak of MTT play can make a small br dissapear quick.
