wagner and delgado were nice pick-ups
lo duca is a great addition at catcher
he plays hard and is solid defensive asset behind the plate

do the mets finally have enough to knock the braves off their throne next yr? you would think that delgado/wagner/lo duca should be good enough for about 10 more wins next yr which would put the mets at 90+ wins.
90+W ought to be enough to win their division, esp with the departures of thome, furcal, farnworth, et al.

Wouldn't it make more sense to sign Molina or Hernandez then actually trading away a pretty decent prospect?

Does LoDuca have Spanish heritage that I don't know about?

The Mets are not only good enough to take over the Braves in the division- they're good enough to win the world series. that lineup is flat out scary right now, and will likely get even better when they get a second baseman (almost any MLB starter would be better than kaz matsui).
