Easy question - Am I pot committed here?

Villain is 40/7. He's passive postflop. Bet or check/call this river? Any way I can fold here, since I only committed 1/2 my stack?

Why would you want to fold here?

pot commited? Im tripping over myself to push here. either he hit his flush or he has 3 aces and the pot is already large. hes calling a push with a worse hand IMO. If he has a better fullhouse your unlucky and your hand is good more than 80% of the time here

But does a flush draw minraise this turn? Would he call the flop with 44? I guess he could call the flop with a gutshot though.

I wouldn't worry about being pot committed here. Your hand is good enugh to put all your money in the middle.

I am assuming you probably lost, but I would be pushing this no doubt.. what hands are you afraid of here? A4 I am guessing, but more often then not I think you are ahead here, in fact I think it is almost all the time... I don't think I could ever find a fold here.

Thanks guys. This probably belongs in the bad beats forum. Offcourse he had aces up this time. Let this thread die.

I'd definitely see the river , but would prefer to call without having to put in all my chips. You don't have the nuts. A,3, or A,4 is not unlikely as he called your $30 raise.
