I was recently watching my friend play 1000 nl on PP. Although i dont have the hand converter b/c i was not playing i remember the hand precisely. Villian riases to 40 utg and hero calls with 99.
Flop: 10s 9h 7s. Villian bets 80, hero raises to 280t. villian calls.
Turn: Ac. villian checks, hero moves in for 600 t. Villian calls.
River: 4d
Villian shows AA.
Is there any way to get away from this hand or to figure that the villian most likely has a big pair after his call on the flop and with the A out there on the turn the only way he is calling all in is if he has AA??? Thoughts or would anyone play this differently?

I think a FAR more interesting question is how to play AA once you're hit with the flop raise.

Ya, if hero had a flush draw, vilan took a big risk checking there. Alot of scare cards for villan on river, im thinking if he leads allin on that card, it could easily get a call from a pair+draw type hand.

Meh, you think 98 plays this way? If I get raised on the flop, I hate pushing the turn. Am I the only one?

no you aren't the only one, but in that game it seems like i have come across more people that are married to AA/KK than not.

I think it was just an unlucky hit for your friend.
With that flop UTG statiscally will loose more than win. He got lucky.
If Hero would have reraised him preflop considering hero's position on him he probably would have reriased you large or all-in. So bad move there.
If hero checked the flop and called bad move there.
A check raise is a decent play but probably wouldn't have got rid of him.

Here's the thing. UTG raises preflop, calls post flop raise, CHECKS when the A hits. Smells fishy
In low limts I would see a fish drawing a flush but at these limits players get tricky and don't really call raises with draws. They eaither raise or fold. imo
I think hero could have saved some money by checking the turn and calling a smaller bet from UTG instead of the all-in.
I don't know, it just seems tricky. That turn check.

UTG could have AK spades. there's no way you can put him exactly on AA. everyone should go broke here.

Hero should check the turn and call any river bet.
