Rules Question

in a cash game, player a bets 75 chips on 4th street, player b calls and player c also calls by going all in with his remaining 61 chips. On the river players a & b check it down. Player a wins, at which point player c asks to see players b cards as well. player b says " you can not see my cards, i called player a", player b throws his cards into the muck, and player c pulls them out of the muck and turns them over. does player c in a cash game have the right to see players b cards, player b & c called player a.......thx...mb

Re: Rules Question

There was a showdown. Anyone can see anyone's cards.

But it's a nit thing to do.

Re: Rules Question

Any player can ask to see a hand at the showdown. No player can pull them out of the muck however. It is the dealer's job, and the player who pulled them out could suffer a penalty for doing so.

Methinks the dealer should also have turned over the cards before they hit the muck. There was just all kinds of wrong in that situation.

Re: Rules Question

The general rule in virtually all rooms is that any player can ask to see a called hand. Thus player C could ask to see player B's hand. Whether I agree with the rule or not is another story that has been discussed at length already, so I won't digress.
