I think I got this right at each step, but I'd love to fine tune it. I don't have a lot of hands on the villain. He appears to be fairly vanilla and I took his raise to indicate a solid starting hand - A2xx with a suited ace and possibly a second baby.

Unfortunately he caught good with A24x making the straight. I submitted the hand more to check on my play of aces than anything else.

If you want to be a glutton for punishment, play O8B a lot, and watch your jaw hit the floor when you lose hands like these, all the time.


You played the hand correctly, [censored] the results, if you made the right play that is all that will ever matter (unless you go broke playing way too high~ a'la tex this summer playing with a 60BB roll)
