have you seen him makes these limp-raises preflop before?

only hands this makes sense to do with are AA or KK

would a reraise be wrong here because of his stats?

Have you done this before? Can he put you on a steal? Can he limp AA/KK from the button?

I'm not a 6 maxer, but I'd guess the button is on either two high cards or (more likely) a smaller pair. I'd guess small pair or connectors from UTG.

I'd tend to push as I think most people won't limp AA/KK from the button (even in 6 max?). Once I rule out AA/KK, I'd hate to make a flop mistake OOP against two opponents.

I should have clarified, I have only been at the table for one or two orbits, villains stats came from a different session. So no, I have not seem him limpreraise before and I have not yet raised out of the blinds this session.

I can see people making this play with JJ/TT as well as AA/KK, so I think a push is fine. It looks a bit like a steal because the raise is so large. But the villain seems fairly reasonable...so I am not sure.

I'd push. If villain really is that tricky then he just tricked himself my stack.

Re: QQ from SB

I think you fold here... what were your stats vs. this player in the past? UTG calling is also an issue because if you call and UTG pushes you are now in a bigger problem.

So fold and hope to get in the same situation with AA or KK. I think it is possible to lay down the best hand here to gather more information about villian before risking the stack.

the guy is either really good or really bad, id love to take advantage of his error, but limp reraises usually indicate very strong. I fold and go get a beer....grrrr.

Re: QQ from SB

Don't you think if UTG wanted to push he'd have made a reraise/push after hero raises? I think he wants to see a flop with something like a mid pp or AQ.

I say push and isolate the button.
