New Non Profit Poker Organization Now Forming!!
 

I would like to hereby announce that a new Non Profit Poker Organization is now forming.

The organization is called "All In" For Life: Poker For Charities, and it's main purpose is to organize No Limit Texas Hold'em poker tournaments as fundraisers for charitable causes.

Our 1st event coming soon, will be for the American Red Cross, raising funds for Hurricane Relief.

With this new venture we hope to not only promote the sport of poker, but provide an entertaining and unique way for charities and organizations to raise much needed funds.

Be careful where you hold these non-profit tournaments. A while ago, Phil Helmuth organized a nonprofit NL holdem tourny that was to be held in Houston, the city I live in. It got cancelled because poker is "illegal" in this area

If you plan to be taken seriously, register a domain name for your org, and set up email using that domain name.

I've been running a non-profit poker organization for about the last six weeks now. Trust me, it sucks.
