JJ - Too Weak?

I'm mostly a limit player (like 95% limit). I know this hand really isn't all that profound, but I can't get it out of my head. Is getting stacked by QQ - AA the right move here?

Hollywood $1 NL ($100 Max buyin)

Villian's stats are -
VPIP: 14.7
PFR: 4
AF: 2.5
over 35 hands.

Villian is UTG+1 ($94 stack)
BarkingMad is directly on Villian's left. ($50 stack)

Preflop BarkingMad has J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG Folds, Villian raises to $5, BarkingMad calls $5, everyone folds.

Heads up to the flop.

Pot = $11.5
Flop 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villian bets $8, BarkingMad raises to $16, Villian re-raises to $24, BarkingMad ??.

Conservative, but not too weak. I'm not sure I like the flop raise. I'll often just call it and see what the turn brings. If he's CB'ing, you're way ahead with position, and a call likely slows him down. As played, he 3-bets you and you just have to give him credit. If he just called you, you're likely ahead, but the 3-bet says he's got you often enough for you to fold.

Re: JJ - Too Weak?

Why make the call on the flop if you plan on folding to a bet on the turn? That's just leaking chips, in my opinion. You aren't going to call on the flop if you think you are beaten, and if you think you are ahead, you shouldn't fold the turn if it simply doesn't bring a jack. Either fold on the flop or call the flop and plan on calling a moderate sized bet on the turn if no overcard or diamond appears.

With those stats either just call the first bet on the flop or fold to his reraise

This hand is odd, villain called the pfr, what is his range here? I can see A5 or a diamond draw. 22 looks off for his stats.

Does anyone represent a draw like villain did his unknown hand?
