My wife finally had enough of me today as I interrupted her reading time with my taunting and maniacal laughter while playing online. I think the last straw was when I yelled to the dog that I was going to anally rape the weak/loose player I ended up heads up with.

I just can't seem to help myself. I'm never this way in live games, and I never berate anyone in the comment box. For some reason, though, I can't seem to stop myself from yelling things at the monitor. Usually, it's some bragging taunt when I'm running good.

I'm not saying it's a problem or anything (well, maybe for my wife). I actually enjoy blowing off steam this way, and I've discovered that there's some part of me that loves bullying people around a poker table. It's like my one opportunity in life to be a total pr!ck and not have to feel guilty about it.

Anyway, SNGs are fun, especially pushbotting.

I don't say weird things, but winning a big pot usually illicits fist-pumping and a "don't [censored] with me, baby!" or something along those lines.

tonight my monitor talk was more along the lines of:

flop; "okay the only hand that beats me is xx"; pot bet, call
turn; "there's no freaking way you actualy have xx"", pot bet, call
river; "what the hell do you have?"; check, bet, call

Player B shows xx

me: WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hilarious post...i usually give a good old fashioned "SUCK IT!!!"..kinda in a higher pitched slow pronounciation...then i hear my wife laugh and ask how much i won and what hand i had...good times for all...except the cat doesn't really like the high pitched part...anyway, funny stuff [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I don't say much to my monitor, and I live alone. Maybe this is why all those internet players talk crazy s@#$ at the WSOP.

But maybe this is a hole in my game. I'll try it next time.
