Playing low overpairs OOP

NL 6-max and fullring 0.5/1 $.

One situation I often find myself in is this. I raise with 99-QQ and get 1-2 callers. Flop comes rags with no likely draws, ie 735 rainbow. I of course bet out on the flop and get called. What should my action be on the turn if

1. another rag comes?
2. A/K/Q comes?

My default action is to bet again and fold to a raise. If villain just calls on the turn, I just hate my position on the river and is often forced to check-fold to a big bet.

What do I do if I get raised on the flop? If I am villain, I could raise here with pretty much anything to pick off and overcardbluff. I could also just call and try to steal the pot on the turn if villain checks.

Anyone has any thoughts on the subject? I think these hands are really tough to play.
