i see no reason not to call river. his turn raise means big hand. hopefully he has aq or kk or jj or is retarded.

the river check-raise is pretty bad. when his turn raise wasn't for a free showdown, your equity isn't that great.

3betting the turn is bad too. if he needs AQ or better to raise there, then you're not doing that great, especially if you can discount AQo at all based on preflop.

if he'll raise for a free showdown there, then you should call the turn and bet/call the river. that should get the most value out of stuff worse than a pair of queens and get you to showdown cheap'ish when you're behind

I would just call river I think. River c/r isn't terrible but I think it's breakeven and variance-increasing at best. On any card but a heart it would be gross.

i don't get the river c/r. what do you put him on by the river to justify a c/r?
