25 NL, TT flops top set against LAG.

Villian was a 52/23(datmined so I have about 400 hands on him) LAG, had raised his previous two hands. He's pretty aggressive postflop but nobody's played back at him so I don't know how he's gonna handle it. It's about my third orbit physically at the table with him.

Hero bets $5???

The flop bet was kind of weak, but I was afraid if I came out for a pot bet it wouldn't get raised. I thought about pushing here after his raise as well, but I wasn't sure how he was going to react.

Donked the turn a small amount again hoping that villian would decide to push the rest of his stack in.

Is this all too elaborate? Should I have just pushed on the flop? Or checkraised the turn to push him all-in?

Probably should have 3 bet the flop, I don't know if a push is necessarily in order, however you should have attempted to get more of his stack in the middle to set up for a turn push.
