1/2 200 NL. I have everyone covered. Original raiser has 130. I have 77 in the Hijack.

EP raises to $7. 2 callers, I call, button calls and BB calls.

Flop is K97 and no suits. EP raiser fires out 40. Everyone folds to me, and I move in.

My logic was that if he had a hand strong enough to bet into 5 people, then he could probably withstand an all in of the pot. Is this a better line than just calling, hoping he bets the turn, and depending on how much, either calling or raising then? Perhaps(unlikely), he fires again with nothing?

He most likely has one of only 3 hands. AA, KK and AK.

KK, you'll get broke.

AA, the table ssemed loose so here I think you´ll get more money with either play.

AK, this hand you might get more out of him if you just call him down.

He has either 2 or 0 outs.

with only 77, I would have pushed at that point as well

EP already has over 1/3 of stack in the pot and you have bottom set. I think I like calling here because it's all getting in on the turn anyway. Let Villain bet the turn and push. His stack is committed at that point and it's doubtful that he will catch a turn card to beat you.

If any one else was in the hand, I would push on the flop.

I think you let him off...he's committed after any turn bet but he can fold after this push....i'd have waited...nothing really scares you here.

Evaluating this in a vacuum, meaning no info on villian's playing style. He does not have you beatand most likely is drawing to runner-runner. If you call and let him lead again, I bet he checks. Pushing right here is more likely to induce a call.

Exactly what holding is villain calling a push on the flop that he folds to a push on the turn?

Depends on your image and what your read is on him. If you have been playing LAGGY this has a much higher probability of working. If he is just your typical bad low limit player. Just call let him dig his own grave. I think the most important factor is your image. If you have been wild and loose this is a great play if you have been tight or normal than just call and let him bet the turn....

I would just call here. He is more than likely drawing to a runner runner full house. While he will probably call your allin raise on the flop, waiting until the turn is a more sure thing to get the stacks in.
