Just kindof curious how other people would play this hand. I just sat down at the table so no real reads, other then this guy seems like a general idiot/fish. And when he three bets flop c/rs flop and checks the turn i have to think he has a monster, or what he thinks is a monster, which i think might be a worse A but dubiously, and I think that hes trying to trifect and dont want to have to b/f or b/c the turn. Some other friends suggested other ways to play it so im just sort of curious.

You have AQs. I would probably cap this preflop. His flop line is the usual fishspeak for "I have a monster" and I like your play afterward.

cap preflop because you're in position with a hand that's likely best. as you played it, 3-bet the flop or wait and pop the turn. this is way too passive.
