Pokerroom creating private tourneys?

I got this email from pokerroom talking about members creating their own private tounaments. Here is the link:

Private Tournaments

Do other sites do this as well?

Re: Pokerroom creating private tourneys?

I think pokerstars may have been doing this for a bit. I know business entities have been able to make tournaments with various sites including ultimatebet (card player does this) and the noble/cdpoker network (a number of internet sites).

Pokerroom's custom tournaments provide a lot of options. I'm impressed.

Quick disclaimer: I do not work for pokerroom.com, but am fond of the site.

You have a number of options with custom tournaments there:

buy-in: from 5+.50 to 500+25.
sit and go or big (up to 3 tables in sit and go and larger tournaments with a 2 minimum up to an I'm not sure maximum (probably at least 2000 which seems like plenty)
games: holdem, stud, stud hi/lo, omaha, omaha hi/lo, 5 card draw
betting structure: limit, PL and NL for all but stud games, only limit for the stud games

You can password protect the tournaments as well. I'm not sure you can make them without a password protection, but based on custom ring game tables, I suspect so.

No custom tournaments for play money yet, but I'm sure not that many people here care about that.

No options for mixed games, big bet stud games, or for crazy pineapple, either forms of the usual triple draw, razz or other less common games on the site at all.

What are the custom tournament options on the other sites where a user can make a tournament?
