An odd hand

from memory
pokerstars 1/2 full ring.
Main villain is the CO. he is 52/14. Appears to be a bad player. in one instance he played ajs to a raise, minraised a flop bet (A high flop) and checked it down losing a to a higher kicker.

I limp utg+1 with jacks.
another limper or two, including the CO.
bb (22/4) raises to 6 (3x bb)
i call, other limpers fold,
CO raises to 18
BB FOLds
I call 12 with like 40 in the pot

flop is 8-8-9 rainbow

I check villain bets 6

What is his hand range and what is my action?

on the limp reraise? His range is probably QQ-AA...but since you describe him as such a tool maybe it's higher. I woulda tossed this preflop unless you are deepstacked after that reraise to 18. Even bad players get decent hands sometimes:p

sorry effective stack sizes are 350.

i guess the limp from that position really confused me, especially with his vpip and pfr

Re: An odd hand

Unless you've seen him Limp reraise with crap in the past, I think the first assumption(in my mind at least) is that he's slowplaying Aces. But that's a pretty weak flopbet so I'm at least calling that and going from there...
