Dude was a normal villain. Nothing tremendously noteworthy, but he had been stealing my blinds somewhat infrequently. First minraise I saw. I doubt he's doing this with any two or anything like that, so he probably has a hand. This is obviously somewhat read dependent, but there's more to it than that so I think we can get a discussion going.

This hand is either really really right or really really wrong, depending on your read of villian. If he folded, you were right. If he called, you were wrong. It doesn't really matter what his hand is.

Fair enough. Maybe I'm trying to get at what percent of your opponents would play in a manner that would make this profitable. I guess I'm trying to gauge perceptions of $109 opponents. For example, what do you think a villain that I described calls here with? It's kind of a loosely worded question, I know.

This is a play that it is absolutely imperative you don't make based on "x % of your opponents would fold to me here," and I believe doing so would be an enormous leak. This sort of play is made against specific opponents who you know something about, if it's done for a profit.
