interesting spot on the turn

UTG+1 is a calling station, MP is a TAG, no read on CO.

9 handed

Hero has A8s in UTG and limps, UTG+1 calls, MP raises, CO coldcalls, blinds fold, all call.

Four to the flop for 9.5SB. Flop is Axx rainbow. Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, MP raises, CO coldcalls, all call.

Four to the turn for 8.5BB. Turn is a J putting a two flush on, not hero's suit. Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP checks (!), CO bets, Hero ...

Minor question: Do you call or raise here? (EDIT: or fold?)

Hero chooses to just call, UTG+1 calls, MP now raises (!!), CO calls, Hero ...

MAJOR QUESTION: Fold now or take a look at the river?

Why not check/call the flop?

Assumming you bet/call the flop.. id probably fold to CO's turn bet.

In truth, I observed this hand; I was not hero. I am torn between betting and checking the flop. I see merit in both, but I like the bet/call.

As for the turn, I had not considered it enough, but I think you are right, folding the first time around is probably correct. Having called the first time though, is the second time interesting?

I would fold to the turn CR. It looks like MP has a very big hand, and/or a very good read on CO. You're most likely drawing dead. As to the turn bet, I'd probably call it.

I guess I'll be the first to say it. Fold preflop.

I don't like the flop bet. I'd probably end up calling the turn bet from CO, and I'm definitely folding to that raise.
