S.O.S. BEGINNER NEEDS HELP
 

im reading these posts and there are all sorts of different terms like EV and HERO and [censored] like that ... im really lost and im a new player .... are there books that can help me or what ..... i know how to play hold em and on a scale of 1 - 10 im about a 3 but this technical stuff is making my head spin ... can someone please give me help and advice

hero just means the guy playing the hand.. villian is the opponent. EV means expected value.. youll probably need to read a book to understand.
