Quantifying a Downswing
 
Where do you start your last downswing, the highest point you last achieve. The week before I went on vacation I had a good run, up $2000, but lost it the last few days. Does the fact that this all happaned within a week mean it cancels itself out.

Yeah, this is kinduv useless i guess.

Not that there's any useful reason to do so, but I like to use poker patterns and then just look at peaks and lows to find out the largest downswing that had occured at any point in the period I'm interested in.

Even if this accounts for a period near the end of session N through to a period near the beginning of session N+1, it still counts.
