What would he call a pot size flop bet with that you beat?

Yes.

Personally, I don't like the raise from SB here. Position is pretty important in this game and you don't have it, and have just given away part of your hand.

Once again, I overplayed Aces, and it's consistently a leak in my game. Villain potted pre-flop with 8d, Ks, Ad, 3s. Him calling a preflop re-raise and pot-sized bet on a paired board is also questionable.

However, my line should probably have been: Call his raise pre-flop, Check-call flop, Check-fold turn.

Since I had 2 of the suited Aces, it made sense that he had nut diamonds. Once again, I donked off chips.

Your line should have been call the raise preflop, bet pot on the flop, if he calls or raises give up on the turn. You do that because its he same thing you would do if you called and hit the flop hard and given the board and your hand you probably have the best hand.

Also stop with the raising with bad aces. If one of your cards isnt a 3 or a 2 to go along with those aces they are bad unless you can get at least 30-40% or more of someones stack in the middle preflop.

Yes.

[/ QUOTE ]Err... it wasn't a yes/no question.

Reworded, it would be something like "Given that he called your pot-sized bet, what possible hand could he have that can be beaten by your hand?"

I meant, yes, he would call with a hand that was behind. Flush draw facing a pot-sized bet with no real low or straight draw.
