Passive Approach with flopped trips

It's my first hand; that's why i'm in with this crap UTG.

Villain is 16/3. After his raise on the flop, I put him on either flush draw+overs, or a better 7 than me. Hence, I though raising would only fold out the worse hands and allow the better hands to get more $$. Also, he was pricing himself out of the draw, so I thought that it'd be doubly unnecessary to raise. Didn't consider A7 or K7 to be a strong possibility at any point.

Thoughts?

I'm A-ok with it, that's probably as much as you'll make when you're ahead and as little as you'll lose when you're behind.

Posting UTG is questionable, but in the long run it probably won't matter at all.

True. I just click auto-post when I enter a table though, so I usually post in any position.

I only post from MP or later. If I'm in EP I'm waiting for the big blind, its only 1 or 2 hands.

I like your line fine...I think you are ahead personally...he's way more likely to have 76 or 87 here....A7s is possible though as is 33. WA/WB call down standard against this agression.
