software OK?

I play an obscene amount of poker on PartyPoker and they have informed me that use of any software to track play could result in freezing my account. How likely is this and what are the pros and cons of getting soemthing like poker tracker. Any info appreciated.

What software are you using? PokerTracker and a HUD are fine. There are a few applications that will cause you to lose your account though.

There are a ton of people who use PokerTracker and a HUD, so if those are the only applications you use, you will be fine.

a HUD is a HeadsUpDisplay, it shows u all the info u have on a person directly over ur tables window.

as an added bit of info, PokerAce is the greater of arguably the best HUD out there.

pokertracker does not go against the TOS (terms of service) of Party.

get it as soon as you can.

then get PAHUD as it is the cutting edge of HUD, which gives you real-time stats on your oppenents.

Party knows about PokerTracker. They have no problem with it.
