No you're all kinds of good. Washington State has Indian casinos, and better for poker players, bars are allowed to apply for table game licenses.

Someone else is going to have to give you Spokane-specific info, though.

Spokane has some small card rooms throughout the city, and a large Indian Casino north of town which has like 12 tables. Northern Quest. So you'll be all good.

Thanks Nolan. That makes the move thing a little easier.

Oh, I forgot, they also just opened a Hooters Casino there, which is supposed to have some poker tables. So you may be interested in that.

There are quite a few places to play in Spokane.

My favorite is Big Daddy's which is up on the South Hill at 29th and Regal. They have some of the best dealers I have ever seen and the food is excellent. They will probably be moving in a couple months though. They have a 3-6 game and try to get 10-20 going on Tuesday and Thursday although this week there hasn't been enough players. Also if you are there at around 1 AM they bring out food.

They have some bonuses also. 4 times a day they give out $100 for high hands. On Sun-Thurs from open-7 and 2 AM-close they give out $25 for any full house. Fridays they give $50 for any Ace high flush and Saturdays they give out $50 for any Ace high flush or straight. Both hole cards must play for all of these and you must have the Ace in your hand for the flushes or straights.

Every day at 12:30 they have a daily tourney which is 30 people and a $20 buyin and they give you free lunch. Saturdays at 6 PM they are starting to do a $100 buy in tourney and they also have tournaments on Wednesdays as well.

All in all it is, in my opinion, the best card room in the area. Other options are:

Northern Quest casino in Airway Heights. They have 1-2, 3-6, 2-10 spread, 10-20, and I think a couple other games as well. It is an OK room but nothing amazing.

Hooters Casino out in the valley: I think they have 4 tables and have a couple different games running.

Lilac Lanes in north Spokane: Haven't been there in a while but I believe they have 1-5 spread and 2-10 spread.

Ringos in the valley: I think they have 6 tables. Was only there once for Omaha 8/b on Tuesdays. Don't know much about this room.

Players and Spectators: Been there once. 6 tables. OK games.

I think there are a couple more that I am missing as well.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Sounds like there are a few places to play 10-20. Thats a good thing. Does anyone spread a consistant NL game? Plus are the 10-20 games usually relatively soft? I will probably have more the closer I get to moving out there. Right now it looks like about the first of the year so I have a little time. Thanks for all the info

There is no NL around here. State law prohibits NL games. The maximum bet in a ring game is $25. I guess someone could theoretically spread a 1-25 spread game but I doubt that will ever happen.

There was a tribal casino about 60 minutes north of town that was going to start some NL but that casino just closed a couple weeks ago.

As far as the 10-20 games I have never played in them but know most of the players that were in the Big Daddy's game. There are a couple terrible players that were sitting in that game. Most of the players are fairly solid but there will usually be enough losers to feed the good players.

Bummer on the NL but hopefully 10-20 makes up for it Thanks for all the great info. Hope to see you at the tables

Since i found a spokane thread, does Northern Quest spread Omaha\8? I'm not a hold'em player and spokane is just far enough that I'll drive there for an omaha game, but far enough away that I don't want to drive to find out...

The guys I work with also say that Big Daddy's is the nicest place to play hold'em in spokane, but they think that Lilac had the worst players. They never go to Northern Quest (they don't like indians or some carp) so I'm a little in the dark for omaha info.
