Dumb laptop question

Sorry if this is a dumb question...

I want to buy a laptop for 4-tabling Party and Stars with no overlap. I was looking at the Dell Inspiron 6000. I notice there are 2 different display options you can get. WSXGA is included and Dell lists resolution as 1680x1050. The WUXGA is $50 more and has 1920x1200.

Would I need to get the upgrade in order to 4-table with no overlap? Thanks for any advice!

Re: Dumb laptop question

I four table on my dell 6000 3 hours a day with the regular screen. There is significant overlap but I find it far easier on my eyes.

The WUXGA is terrible, from my limited usage. WAY to much resolution for the screen size, and on an LCD monitor like that you have to run the recomended resolution. If you turn it down it blurs...

The WSXGA at most is what I recomend at most. Some up/down overlap, no side/side overlap, and still comfortable to look at.

Re: Dumb laptop question

you need a minimum of 1600x1200 for no overlap, so WUXGA would be the play here.

I have a WUXGA Dell Inspiron 6000 (paid for by suckers on party ) I love it. As one poster suggested it does shrink the normal stuff a bit but I got used to it quick. To my knoweledge it is the cheapest laptop you can use for 4 tabling.

I only used it a bit at the store, I could easily be misrepresenting long term comfort.
