The Rise & Fall of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders from Mars

been listening to this on my walk to work for the past week and it just gets better and better.

After TOMMY, ZIGGY STARDUST is one of the quintessential concept albums of our time.

Highly recommend this album. ENJOY!

It's good, but not his best.

Awesome, I'd never heard of this album--a situation I share with my fellow posters no doubt.

If you liked this, I would like to recommend some other well-kept secrets:

Abbey Road, The Beatles.
Unplugged in New York, Nirvana

and this awesome song:

Satisfaction, The Rolling Stones

I disagree with your sarcasm in this case. I'm 24 years old, dont' know how old oyu are, but could make a big difference even if you have 5-10 years on me.

Most of the people my age, at least around here, wouldn't know a david bowie song if it hit them in the face. Everybody seems to know the beatles, zep, the who, etc, but Bowie definately goes overlooked.

yes, curse them! you sound like quite the aficionado with the suggestion that it's great music for hanging out and drinking beer.

love it. Junior year of college it's what I'd listen to while writing papers.

Just the beer light to guide us...

Great Album/Artist. Puts 99.5% of the utter crap that's cranked out these days to shame.
