99 folds the flop w/ no overs?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

I am pretty new to the table so no real reads. Table does seem to fit the "good game" image... moderatly loose and not full of TAGs.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 raises, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, UTG+2 3-bets, MP1 caps, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Button calls, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls.

Flop: (24.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 players)
Hero bets, UTG+2 calls $0.75 (All-In), MP1 calls, MP2 raises, MP3 calls, Button 3-bets, Hero folds?

Sure, MP2 may be raising with his overs that he raised w/ PF, but the button is coming over the top. What hand(s) do you put them on and was I right to folds?

Thanks

I think the flop lead is pretty bad. I'd go no set, no bet with the PF action.

I think it's pretty clear 99 is not the best pair preflop. You need to hit a 9. I would check the flop and fold if it's two or more bets back to me, which it almost certainly will be.

But if it's one bet back to you somehow, you will have odds to call and pray for the 9 on the turn (and preferably a non-heart 9).
