So I played some 3/6 full.....
 

....the last few days. I just sat down and played. Sometimes 8-tabling, sometimes 4-tabling. I only played 2K hands (dropped 110BB [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]) and didn't worry about table selection, but my god were the games awful. Average VPIP was 17. Ick. There has to be good games out there, but do you guys find you have to search high and low for them? Just curious.

the 3/6 6max games are very good .. that's prob part of the problem with the full games

Plenty of good games (VP$IP ~ 30, PFR ~ 5) exist, but usually they don't stay good very long, so you have to be quick when you find one. Data mine for a few days, and you'll be able to zoom in on the good tables in no time.

Maybe 3/6 has gotten bad and 5/10 has gotten good. Everyone used to rag on 5/10, but I've recently had no problem finding 5 tables with 20 + VPIP, including often tables with 25+ and a couple 30+ gems. Every table seems to have at least two fish. Pretty nice.

But, then again, maybe that's just because I usually play from 11pm to 5am.

5/10 is amazingly soft. One thing that you have to realize is that the quality of a table isn't only vpip numbers. Some of the fish at 5/10 and 3/6 are disguised as good players, (17 vpip) but they play absolutely horrible post flop. That being said, you should be able to find plenty of 3/6 full games with a couple people with vpips higher than 50.
