For those of you with Rakeback at Interpoker

Do you ever end up losing money because of it? The reason I ask is that the bonuses clear very fast. I did lose money on a couple of Prima sites when I was playing super tight. Not much money but a little. Prima does that contributed rake thing and I cleared the bonuses faster than I contributed rake so I had a -MGR. The reason I am asking is because I may start to play there more so I'd like to get rakeback. But if I end up just clearing the monthly bonus I don't want to lose a little back. I play 5/10. I was also playing 5/10 when I lost a little at Prima.

Affiliates I don't need any offers. Thanks in advance for info.

It's not possible.

Does this mean that interpoker does not deduct bonuses from your mgr. Because it is possible at other sites.

At the current time Interpoker doesn't deduct bonuses from your MGR. It is a great deal!

You will never owe money to your affiliate so you cant ever lose money. Most affiliate programs reset to zero every month anyway. This is an old casino issue. You advertise for _____ casino. One of your players hits a $4000 royal in VP. If the negative carried over why would you keep advertising for them at -$4000 MGR to work off instead of starting over with a new casino.

From my understanding most poker rooms follow this too even though it really isnt possible to fall too far negative without casino games. I guess affiliates can correct me if I am wrong.

Addict is correct that most poker rooms reset to zero but a minority dont.

Of course (fraud aside) you can only have a net negative MGR with a poker room that deducts bonuses from rake before commission is calculated (NB bonuses are never deducted from rakeback, but from rake)

Most affiliates never have a negative carry over with a poker room because their positive rakers usually outweigh the negatives...the possible exception being this month with the Party Skins who are throwing money at players in order to retain them.

However individual players will often have their negative rake carried over by a rakeback affiliate (or have it offset against positive rakeback for the same player at a different room). The reason is thus

Let's say an affiliate only has 2 players at Lala Poker (who pay them 30% and the affiliate pays its players 25%)

And player A has $100 rake at month end
PLayer B has $-100 (due to bonuses)

LaLa Poker pays the affiliate 30% on the net rake which is zero.

But the affiliate still has to pay player A $25 rakeback...
but claims nothin back from player B.

So the affiliate is out of pocket by 25$ (mass cheers from the infidels)

Hense the affiliate will carry PLayer B's negative rake over or offset it agains positve rake as mentioned...

regards

J
