Theory question regarding raising ranges

this is a *pretty* simple question, but my friend is working on developing a mathematical model for certain situations, and input would be appreciated.

Although clearly a player's chip stack, style, image, and the stage of the tournament will be determining factors in their raising range from a given position, a general idea of what the perceived raising range of a standard (perhaps unknown) player is would be much appreciated.

the scenario:

Let us assume this is a higher buy in tournament, like the $162 on stars. Everyone has about 20 big blinds at a 9-handed table. An unknown, most likely average solid/decent player opens the pot from:

an early position (utg, utg+1)

mid-position (utg+2, utg+3, cutoff-1)

late position (cutoff, button)

What are his probable raising ranges? Differentiate between specific positions if you like.

If this is too much to ask, that is OK, but any input would be appreciated.

I'd say that HOH would probably provide you with a good range. Harrington goes through what hands to open from what positions. Some would call it a tight range, but I'd say its solid rather than tight. I would guess it's fairly middle of road.

EP: 77+, AJ+, KQ.

MP: 55+, AT+, KJ+, QJs, JTs?

LP: Any pair, Axs, A8+, K9s+, KT+, JT+, some suited connectors

This is really a hard thing to judge because of styles of various players. I would guess that those approximate ranges are fairly close though.

EP-99+,ATs+,KJs+,ATo+,KQo
MP-55+,A9s+,KTs+,QTs+,ATo+,KTo+
LP-22+,A2s+,K8s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,A7o+,K9o+,QTo+,JTo

these are a little on the tight side but look pretty good to me
