how thin is this river bet?

Villain seems prone to overplaying everything--too far and too aggressive (44/23/2.7).

Button is a bit loose and very passive (29/2/0.6).

I had been playing pretty tight at this table (13/11...not that they necessarily noticed).

Anyone check/call or check/fold this river?

Party Poker 10.00/20.00 Hold'em (6 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
3 folds, Button calls, Hero completes, BB raises, Button calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (6.00 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Button checks.

Turn: (3.00 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, Button calls.

River: (6.00 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, Button folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 9.00 BB.

I don't think it's thin 'cause I don't think it's close. I'm checking this river every time and maybe calling 1 from the aggro, but never overcalling.

I check it, sometimes call, sometimes fold.

River is scary indeed. I would be check-calling it.

Goign back a few steps... I thought a preflop raise, and leading the flop and turn here are pretty much standard. Am I wrong in thinking that?

consider betting this flop with BB between you.

Raise preflop, check call river. Someone else said don't overcall, I think this is rpetty close but I might fold if there is a bet and a call to me too.

I lead the flop for sure, but failing that I don't think I can even find a check-call on the river. A million hands passed you and the BB is surely aggro enough to have already put in a bet with anything you're ahead of.

first things first, I'm raising PF. I think a flop lead might not be a bad thing. Considering the board, a fold is solid here. I don't see much point in betting out though, its pretty thin to be betting out into that board on the river, I'd lean towards a check/call and maybe a check/fold, but check/folding is probably giving up too much at this level
