help a moron

i'm not "technology savy" or "competent". i have a dell dimention 8400 w/an nvida gforce 6800. i currently have one 2001fp. i want to be able to use a second. i've noticed that my video card has some second, crazily shaped port. its this an imput for another monitor? if it is, why is it shaped differently? thanks ^_^

Is it white or blue? Blue is a VGA connection and white is a DVI connetion

Also, you can get adapters that allow you to hook a DVI monitor ( the Dell flatpanel is I assume?) into a VGA port on video cards...

you will need a monitor with a DVI connector or an adaptor for a VGA monitor, like this
