Rake looks like a major factor in 1/2

90$ in rake in one day?!
Seems like a lot for one level above .5/1
Is it worse for 2/4?

Re: Rake looks like a major factor in 1/2

It's about a nickle a hand. In .5/1, it runs about .02 per hand. From 1/2 to 2/4 looks to be about the same % jump, up to around .075/hand.

Edit: Of course, it's also dependent on you winrate. A losting player will pay much less in rake, according to PT, than a winning one.

One day is a little deceiving here. Most of us slobs don't play 1800 hands a day.

I've played about 60K hands at Party 1/2 full and 6max, and my rake paid is almost exactly 3BB/100. I only have like 2K hands at .5/1 and it is around 3.5BB/100 there. In 18K hands at 2/4 it is around 2BB/100 for me.

Re: Rake looks like a major factor in 1/2

I paid 7.84 cents/hand at 1/2 6max and 5.81 cents/hand at 1/2 full. I was a lot happier when I can win more than I paid for rake.

BTW, good to see it's green.

Have a look at this post that gives the average rake - a TAG player should pay less but still it's a good guide to compare between sites and get a good idea how rake affects your winrate.

Re: Rake looks like a major factor in 1/2

$90 / # of players at the table = your portion of the rake
$15 if 6-max, $9-10 if full ring. That's nothing for 1800 hands.

The rake is 3BB/100 hands? Whats a decent winrate for a winning player? If the rake cuts 3BB, I figure that hurts alot.

Is it really this much?

Wrong. You're misinterpreting the stats he provided.
