Road Trip Location?
 

A few of my buddies and I are planning a casino hopping road trip this spring break and were wondering where there are a bunch of cardrooms relatively close together. Obviously Vegas, but we wanna get more creative than that.

Then you have a decision, head to Tunica or continue east.

Just outside New albany, IN Caesar's IN

Near Cinncinnati OH, Belterra

If you go to Tunica, you have lots of good choices.

google says TCU is Texas Christian University so if you head this direction you can come to church with the MRS and I. We will take you to the The Vine ( the sunday evening service at Southeast Christian)christian rock and tons of pretty girls.

Besides Las Vegas, I would add Atlantic City and Tunica to your list

How about TX to Tunica. North on I-55 to Caruthersville, MO and stop at Casino Aztar. It's a crappy little riverboat, but you're wanting to get creative right? North to STL and east to Steamboatin's locale.

I see So/No(can I say NoCal?) Cal also got some suggestions.

I think both sound like a good time.

Any more/deeper input from anyone?

P.S. I like the church and girls idea as well. When you say pretty girls, are we talking college girls, because that's kind of a pre-req.

If you truly wanted to make it a road trip, one possibility would be to start out at Turning Stone in upstate New York, go to Foxwoods, and then make your way to Atlantic City for your finale. It'd definitely entail a good amount of road travel in between stops, but that's what you're going for, right?

Bad plan (unless you know SPECIFICALLY the approximate action at each joint). Too many bad joints. Unprofitable places. Places that don't spread what you play. You would be better served following some tournaments and catching some side cash games.

The state of Missouri could be a huge disappointment and waste of time, if it doesn't fit your style.

There is a $500 cap on losses per "session". You must present a player's card to enter any of the joints. You must present a player's card to get chips. They close, so watch the clock if you are stuck. Mostly, there is no 24/7 action. Mostly, the players are very knowledgeable and TIGHT. You should know that sort of thing, before you waste your gas money (which can be a considerable expense these days).

It's spring break, after all, so I think you want to stay in warm places. So I would vote for Tunica over Atlantic City.

If you want to get a road trip aspect, how about this: Ft. Worth to Phoenix the first day. 1000 miles, then play in Phoenix. From there to Las Vegas, 300 miles. Then off to LA (another 300 miles) for great cardrooms, plenty of pretty girls. On the way back you can stop in Phoenix again.
