Re: Party 55 - bubble play

6 handed is "bubble play"? WTF?

Whether to call or not relies totally on reads, if he's pushing a wide range here (more than 22+,A2+,KTo+,K8s+,QTs+) then you can call (assuming you want at least some edge). Otherwise, you can't.

If it's me pushing there, you should probably call

OK I changed the title just for you. My apologies, it felt like the bubble. So how do yo define bubble, 4-5 players only but definitely not 6, is that an absolute rule or what?

Re: Party 55 - bubble play

The bubble is, by definition, the point when someone is about to be 'bubbled off' out of the money, therefore, it's 4-handed. Anyway, I also answered your question

Re: Party 55 - bubble play

Are you sure? I would think 5 handed with 200-400 blinds would qualify as bubble, no?

Anyhow I guess you're right, my case probably wasn't bubble, my bad.

You did answer my question and I agree. SGA told me the same thing as well.

Of course the other issue is, if you fold here he is probably right to push any two..

Good old gap concept at its finest..

Re: Party 55 - bubble play

Yeah I put him on a huge range, maybe as huge as any 2 and SGA tells me this is an easy call infact folding is a big mistake.

I am so happy I have SGA and I don't have to wonder about these things any more.

Not so happy that I called and lost to his Q6.
