That was my exact instinct as this hand unfolded. However now I find myself questioning if:

-Maybe I'm giving the flush draw a little too much consideration... Vs. a semi-rational opponent isn't it less likely his turn check raise is a semi-bluff - especially given the paired board?

-The pot was small - Why not just fold in these spots until I have a stronger idea of what my opponent is capable of (stronger read)... or at least better pot odds?

Because a lot of unthinking LAGish players (your typical 5/10er) say "Hey, the board paired kings. I bet he doesn't have one! Bluffing's fun! yay!" Specifically in a steal situation where its easy for people to give you credit for little.

I'd become sad, yet still call here and then check-call the river. People bluff too much on paired boards.
