I wouldn't learn the game from this book, but if you're serioius about Omaha8 and you already understand the game, I think it's worth it:

I believe Ray Zee's 2+2 book is far and away the best one overall. If one is looking for something more basic than Zee, then I'd recommend Tenner and Krieger.

I have Ray Zee's book, it is above my head at the moment.

I will check out the other. Thanks.

I'd suggest Hellmuth's book Play Poker Like the Pros for an O8b newbie. The cash limit hold'em section is of course outlandish but the O8b section is actually quite good IMO.

Its actually Bill Boston, and I would recommend the book. Its a really good discussion on starting hands.

Forgot to mention SuperSystem2. Its probably the best resource out there for O8b.
