Re: AK in rebuy

Under "normal poker" conditions with a good stack I let it go, but at this level the place is still a total zoo, so push.

Re: AK in rebuy: results

UTG+1 calls allin
UTG+1 has A9o

This is why it's a push 110% of the time. Sucks that button had AA, but he's calling just about any PP or A there, and probably KQ and other assorted crapola too.

Yeh but that was the original raiser who called with A9o, not the reraiser. The reraise looked scary. Unless he is a fish, it is probably atleast TT or AQ. But I pushed anyway.

Well, what % of the players in this tourney are fish? My figure is "a lot." I've seen 3 way allins between AA (who just called the allin, never had to raise), AJo (original allin) and QTo (called the allin cold). Players are donks, moreso in rebuys, even moreso in turbo rebuys. If I get AK, or TT-AA in a tourney like this, my $$ is going in the middle. If I'm beat, or get sucked out, so be it. But over time, I will be way ahead.
