Stars $200, no reads.

I'm in SB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and $417. BB has $225.

Preflop: 6 calls, I call, BB checks.

Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet pot of $15, BB calls, UTG goes all-in for $18, I call, BB calls.

Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet pot of $67, BB goes all-in for $205.

with no flush draw I'd fold, might have been better to check the top set in early position hoping to check raise? If it's checked around at least the pot is smaller on the next street so you can boat up for cheaper...just unlucky

I think the fact there is an all-in player substantially reduces the chance that this is a bluff. If he is playing for the sidepot then he really is over betting the pot to win it. The only hands you beat that he makes this play with are a two pair flush draw or an underset. I think thats alot less likely than a 45.

the only draw just got there... i dont like the turn bet... as played, pretty easy fold.

you aren't beating much here unless your opponent is on crack and thinks he's playing crazy pineapple H/L 8b and gets to discard after the river.

This is what I was thinking when I folded. Unfortunately, he had 6622 rainbow. Needless to say, I made a note.
