Seems like players will call with any pair when there is a pair on the board. A lot of players will call with ace high here too. I think I cut my losses here.

A pair is never folding and an ace almost never is. So does QJ or Kx fold 1 in 7? I dunno seems close. I'd like it more if you had jack high. The 3rd spade on the turn means a lot of random hands with a spade called the turn that might otherwise not (Kx with a spade for instance), which makes a bet a bit more appealing.

Let me put it this way. You might be right, but I almost never fire a third barrel on boards like that and I don't think it is hurting me too much. You get Kx and QJ to fold most of the time. I just don't think that is the case enough times to make this profitable.
